Stellacam 3 how to get video feed to pc??

Now then, i am a complete noob (edit as appropriate  ) with imaging.

Have invested in a second hand cooled stellacam 3 at a decent price.

So this is my understanding on how to capture images so guidance greatfully received.

1. Has BNC (RCA-f) for video output - so can either view directly on monitor or capture. This is my unknown. What is needed to get feed from camera to computer?.

2. What is required s\w wise to capture images & potentially edit.

You will need a video frame grabber of some sort, like some of these listed here.

I have a Hauppauge USB one and it works well.

Not sure on the software side.

Sharpcap will give you all you need for video capture - great piece of freeware!!

Other astro capture exist.

Have a look at the Video Astronomy section - it's under the Science section.
