Recommended Posts

i have an sw80ed , and have ordered a upgrade crayford focuser for it, is it just a matter of unscrewing the bolts and fitting then refitting the bolts? or is there alignment issues?

If it has a 86 mm male flange, it should be a direct swap. No need to collimate . Just square up the focuser.

Surely squaring up the focuser counts as cillimating? Anyway, that, in laymans terms, is what I meant......
