good day out if only just to see/lust over the top end gear ( one scope last year £45,000 ) all the main brands on show

have a look at the website for the full list

will be room in the car if other wont to come and  split the fuel costs

I'll be going Lenny...got the ticket for Saturday. See you for Breakfast in the NAAFI at 11.am.

@ Gareth, this is the second IAS. The first was, by all accounts a resounding success. A lot of people believe it to be better than the AstroFest in London, and this year to be even better, Well worth the trip, plenty of savings to be made.

Good to see you going Dave, see you in the canteen for breakies.

It would be great to hire a mini bus.

I hate to drive that far, that's the only reason I take the wife. She goes into Leamington Spa shopping whilst I'm in the IAS.

Even car sharing would be a good option.

  • 2 weeks later...

Is there anyone who is going to the IAS on the Saturday who has a spare seat and would like company and share the fuel costs.

I usually go with the wife and share the driving, but unfortunately she has to work that weekend, and it's a long journey for me alone.

Many thanks.

Have an extra sausage for me Lenny. Unfortunately, I have volunteered to (against all my Army training) chaperone my wife on a work escort duty to West Wales. Have a great day SWG.

I'm going up, but won't be there in time for brekkie!

Lenny, if you're still after some image processing software I've now found my original disk for Adobe elements 3.0 (which is a version which allows plug ins for curves) which should be a good start for you, so I'll bring that along
