Zoom Eyepieces

I am new and interested in zoom eyepieces for my 8" skywatcher dob (that I love). Are they any good? Thank you.

Baader Mark III will be good for your 8" dob.costs a bit but worth it.Later on you will for sure start buying individual eye pieces and thats where all the fun begins and your bank account and wife starts to scream

The downsides of most zooms is the narrow view of field at one side of the range.

The mentioned eyepiece is better then other zooms that offer only 40 degree apparent field of view at one side.

Check out the zooms from Astrozoom.de, not as wide of range, but the adapters make zoom eyepieces out of HR Planetary or other even wide-r angle eyepieces without changing the view of field.
