Just dragged the Lunt out of the front door and manually trained it on the sun. Absolutely stunning prominence at 3 o'clock. That's one thing I love about solar, the fact that you can just set it up within seconds and be observing.

I agree,just had mine out earlier. Them spots are stunning in ha,so I thought I would drag the 200p out (fitted with baader film)....amazing with my 11mm tv plossl,hopefully they continue to put on a show and maybe some nice flares :-)

Lots of bright plague and small filaments,dotted about the surface too.

I managed to get a good few hours in today between the clouds, the prom looked fantastic. :smiley: The set up time is definitely a bonus, but my night time set up isn't any different. However, I Know what you mean :smiley:  no dew shields cables etc...
