Nasa is trying to raise  1 billion US Dollars to fund a mission to Europa, any donations welcome apparently.

Seems like a good cause. If we all gave/donated £1 that would surely be a good lump toward it.

I didn't think it was all that easy to donate to NASA what with them being a federal agency and all. I don't think they can ask for donations but I bet they will gladly take them.

Here's the NASA page for the proposed mission. All interesting stuff and I hope it goes ahead, but there is some way to go before we could go about looking for life there.

'A Space Odyssey  2001', or was it the sequel?

I believe it was. All the other moons were free to be explored, but Not Europa.

Maybe Nasa should heed the warning  :grin:
