Yet another M81 and M82 - my first ever :)

Hi all

Sorry, here's another M81 and M82, not quite up the standard of others on here, but I'm very pleased for my first attempt at it. I'm impressed with the difference the Baader Neodymium filter seems to make with imaging after being a bit disappointed with it visually. Should have bought a 2" one of course.... :D

Here it is, 120mm f/8.3 achro on EQ-5, Canon 350D, Neodymium filter. Stack of 1x90s, 2x60s, 6x60s, 16x30s for total of 17min 30sec all at ISO-800 with dark frames too.

Any comments welcome! :D

Nice one Trev,

Personally I think yours is very good. Certainly better than mine.

You've got much more detail in the spiral arms than I managed. I think a few more subs and you'd be well away!

It's a cracker!

Thanks for the comment Ant! Thought yours was pretty good myself. :D

Do you know if I need longer subs, or just more of them?
