Spoiled with Customer Service

I've come to the realization, after being involved with astronomy for about a year and a half, that we get remarkably spoiled with the customer service from dealers and manufacturers of astronomy equipment!  I know everybody here probably already is well acquainted with this, but I was trying to deal with the customer service from a computer hardware dealer, and I found myself wanting to beat myself over the head with a counterweight!

I've had dealers and manufacturers of astronomy equipment to physically check dimensions and compatibility of their products.  Just image if we got this good of service from everybody! 

Just an observation!
