Filters for Abell Galaxy clusters?

Hey guys, miracles do happen, a clear night at last I hope this evening!

So I fancy have a go at one of the Galaxy clusters in either Hercules or Coma Berenices.  What filters are best for these do you think?  The targets are so small there is hardly any colour to be discerned at all in the images I have seen of these.  So I was thinking of just going with Luminance?
