California Nebula QHY8 WOZS66 0.8 FR/FF

After the Rosette image last night I thought I would try the California Nebula.

The sky was not so clear and the scope was only just looking over next doors roof.

10 x 5 min subs with WOZS66 0.8 FR/FF QHY8 CLS filter guided by ED80 DSI Pro on a EQ6 Pro using EQMod.

Processed in Maxim using DDP and severely reduced to post here.

Again no flats used , but bias and darks were.

Looking good John. Plenty of detail starting to emerge. Never attempted it myself but I think it's pretty dim. The guiding looks like it's working well

I think this image would respond well to flats.
