Hi all.  It's Clydesdale Astro's big meeting of the year on Monday 12th May 2014.  It's our John Braithwaite Memorial Lecture and this year Professor Charles Cockell will be talking about Astro biology and the possibility of life in the universe.  This is a very topical subject with the number of exo planets discovered in recent years and the speculation that 1 billion Earth like planets could exist in our galaxy alone.  Is there life out there and what would it look like if it did?

So come along and bring some pals!

Doors open at 7 pm and we start at 7.30 pm and meet at the Bankhall Community Centre, Climpy Road, Forth near Carluke.  Our website gives details and directions
