Brown dwarf neighbour

NASA's WISE and Spitzer spacer telescopes have found a brown dwarf, the coldest one yet discovered, just 7.2 light years from our own solar system.

Thanks. This is new news to me. I quite like the idea of a star that can give you frostbite.

I wonder how many other cold stars abound?
