NGC1502 ( Very Widefield)

I acquired a new Canon 90-300 zoom lens yesterday and of course I had to give it a try 'astrowise' whilst we had some clear skies. Must say that I'm very pleased with the results, performance only starting to fall away at the very edge of the frame. I was popping of single frames all over the sky with 350D (no scope) one of which what I'm sure is NGC 1502 and Kemble's Cascade. NGC is close to the edge of the frame in the 'yellow box' and I enlarged this section to see how far it could be pushed. Although not great I think it stood up well to enlargement. Will have to see if it will take some saturation to bring out a bit of colour.

Comments welcome.

Cheers
