M45, the Pleiades open cluster in Taurus (The Bull) at 424 lightyears. Composite of 5x10min, 42x3min, altogether 2:46hrs worth of exposure. Taken with Canon 1100D unmodified @ 300mm lens under less than optimal conditions, LP at city edge, (plus this genius forgot the LED light from the guide camera shining brightly into the lens of the piggybacked camera, grr).post-26582-0-70473800-1398526656_thumb.j

Thanks guys..on the 3 min batch, I had 3 quarters of a moon to boot, but the worst thing was the LED of my guide camera blinking steadily all night long into the lens of my imaging cam, I tossed in a bunch of calibration frames to the tune of abt 100d 150 f and b, and still had to make a flat off of the image.
