Astropy

Hello from Paraguay!

Recommended Posts

Greetings to you all from Asunción!

I'm basically a beginner, but very eager to get into this beautiful hobby that is astronomy. I do have some experience with cameras, telephoto lenses and binoculars, and I've always been amazed by the night sky which I have analized pretty extensively using plain sight and binoculars, and in the near future i hope to get my first very own telescope!

Hi and a warm welcome to SGL.

I started with Photgraphy too and have progressed to Astro Photography with a lot of help from this forum. I'm sure you'll enjoy being part of our community.

Happy Stargazing.

Hi and welcome to SGL - Glad that you found us and decided to join. With your existing kit you should be able to get some great milky way type images

Look forward to seeing you around

Welcome to SGL. What are your sky conditions like in Paraguay?

Thank you

I sadly live right in the capital city so there is quite a bit of light pollution, but my family owns a cattle ranch way out where electricity is a luxury (and clouds are too  ) so that place should bring some amazing views, definetly looking forward to that! :D

Welcome to SGL from another southern hemisphere observer!

Peter

Awesome, thank you! I'm glad I am not the only one

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome
