I'm at the touch and go stage of going at present. My back has eased enough over the last few days to give me options.

Its cleared again now so might just stick the ED80 on the EQ5 & do some manual star hopping now.

I have booked to arrive on Thursday. If the weather plays ball (fingers crossed!!!!) I may turn upon Weds, but will call the campsite first to let them know before I do.

Just got back from Blackpool, the tail of the hurricane seemed to have arrived up the channel. Winds were howling yesterday & this morning, lost my balloon. 

Packing up tomorrow, Piddle on the weather forecasters, we're going to give it a punt.

I didn't do much in the way of astronomy today & as I haven't seen much around here I went out exploring just as the sun came out, there's some lovely sites here.

I wonder if the site owners will adopt me lol.

Thats why I Missed you  today some lovely walks along the canal, I popped over the car was there and your thing. i hung around for a half hour and had to return back to my site as I had a group D of E coming in.

The charts are still showing some good observing gaps on Friday and Saturday. There a two cold fronts...just need them to play ball and we should get some good skies.

By eck it were a bit windy last night but the burger van stood firm & no damage was done!!!

I did get a break in the clouds & saw Orion, Taurus & M45 so I went to bed happy.

Just been doing a spot of solar observing & having a look at that large sunspot. It looks massive even in my modest little setup!!!!
