Jupiter shadow

I was observing last night from my back garden and saw the ISS go over watch it go past Jupiter,

then moved the scope to Jupiter and noticed as soon as I got it in sight, a black spot moved across

Jupiter. Could this have been one of jupiter's moons ?

HI, how long did it take to cross Jupiter's disc, the shadows cast by the Jovian moons take several hours to move from one side to the other.

Hi, I would say it took about a minute, to cross it was a solid black spot, the size of Jupiter disc was small as I was looking through

32mm eyepiece maybe a centimetre.

The moons take a couple of hours or more to transit the planet so it wasn't a moon. Satellite perhaps ?. There are plenty of them up there.

I have my suspicions about it being a moon, I thought I might ask incase anyone else had noticed.

Just took me by surprise it was there just as soon as I looked through scope.

Definitely not a moon. Most likely a satellite in high orbit.
