M42 Extremely Windy

Hi all This was taken a few nights ago, as i have been waiting for the last month or so for a good clear night i didn't care

that it was extremely windy that night, so i managed 2 take 70x 30 sec subs

and after spending a good few hours on photo shop with lots of attempts and i mean lots this is my best results. if some one wants to have a blast

let me know so i can post orig file to see what it really looks like.

Not being into imaging myself i cant give any technical input, but i can say a very nice image indeed, very pleasing on the eye!!

Very nice image and good FOV...

It looks like you clipped the black point in the processing though. There's more info in that image than we're seeing, and it's a good image.

Beatiful image and well done for giving it a go in those conditions. Looks very dramatic. As Rob says, the black point is clipped but I like it, quite dramatic.
