Hi all,

I've recently bought my first decent scope a skywatcher skyliner 300p synscan dobsonian, but I've only had the chance to use it a couple of times due to cloudy skies. Even so I've seen the Orion nebula through it, and was amazed at how good an image it was.

Best regards and clear skies. Billy.

billyv6..........Hi... nice telescope and welcome to SGL. With all the bad weather, there's plenty of time to learn about all that aligning and setting the thing up. You'll have all Summer keeping it dust free, and tweaking it with all the latest gizzmos`' and will be ready in time for the Winter viewing. Enjoy your astronomy trip.

Hi Billy, welcome to SGL.  I used to live in Linthorpe many moons ago. Don't suppose I'd recognise the place these days.
