Still with variable seeing Mars shows quite a bit of detail here in Brisbane, still not had good seeing yet.  Mars is getting bigger with little phase,  Hellas impact crater shows blue cloud in the South.  A gif shows 2.5 hours of images in motion.

Mars RGB-1313hrs

Mars RGB-1437hrs

Gif-1213 to 1437hrs UT.

Thanks, John.

Thanks for looking.  With WinJupos and AutoStakkert you can now get to this standard of detail with only fair seeing as I can collect and stack more frames than before with derotation in RGB assembly.  Seeing tends to change as well so you have to wait a while for steady moments.  Stars seem to twinkle which shows the variable seeing and parts of the image do go in/out of focus but moments of sharpness are common enough to stack decently.  You can see the fine edges to the albedo features just intermittently but it is not all over the whole disc.  You can tell avg seeing if it takes a while to find focus and below avg seeing it is very difficult to tell where the focus is.

Regards, John.
