Would I be ok to call in and say hello at SGL9?

I'll be travelling from Birmingham back to Devon on Sat afternoon, would it be ok to call in, say hello and get a feel for the event, Ive not been a member long and never attended a starparty or really had the opportunity to "mingle"  with real astronomers

Yes that's fine, I believe that you have to report to reception as a guest when you arrive, apart from that it's fine.

call in, your more than welcome, think i`m near the tea and coffee tent so should be easy to spot, i always enjoy walking round these events and drooling over peoples setups, chatting to the people you pick up some great tips and lots of help.
