Help needed

I setup my guiding scope and camera last week at Kelling for the first time. Obviously it did not work but I have since found out that I need a 1.25 3 inch extension tube so my QHY5 Camera can find focus on my ST80 guide scope. I can only find these on ebay but I would like to try guiding at SGL9 this weekend.

Has anyone got a spare or know where I can find one at short notice FLO do not have these and suggested a Celestron T adaptor but this was tested last night and did not work.

Any help much appriciated.

Take the lenses out of a barlow and use that instead, works well.

I will have 2" de-lensed Barlow with me that you are welcome to try

I've probably got a 1.25" barlow somewhere that you can use. I can pop the lenses out to get you working this weekend.

Thought of that I only have a 2 x celestron barlow, took the lens out last night and used as a T adaptor but was not long enough.

Thanks for the offer I will give that a try maybe if I joint one or two together I might be able to do it.

I will bring a dead barlow along as well. I use it with my QHY5 on an ST80 so I know it works. With a few different ones to try, at least we can figure out which length extension tube will be best.
