Filter switch diagonal

I have had enough fiddling with filters and would like to buy some sort of filter switch system. The Denkmeier is too pricey new and too rare s/h. I've been waiting for 18 months or so and am currently considering alternatives. It is for my 4" refractor.

Personally I wouldn't want to use that. The exposed filters would collect dirt and dew in short order.

It might also be difficult not to breathe on them too. Are there any alternatives?

I suppose you could use a manual filter wheel (as used in imaging - dosen't need to be motorised though). I made a couple of filter holders for my own use (a wheel and an enclosed slide system).
