Hi all. I struggled to capture much detail at all here last night, high cloud meant longish exposures and a low frame rate, but here is the result anyway.

c.2000 frames, DFK 21AU618.AS, 2x TAL Barlow, Meade 12". c. 6000mm FL F/20.

I'm always puzzled as to why the shadows look so huge in images, but really small when seen visually. Is it some sort of imaging defect?

Nice picture, Luke! 

Which matches the level of detail I saw visually. No idea why imaging would show a bigger shadow -  could it instead be a visual misinterpretation, giving the impression of a smaller shadow?
