Just signed up for this a little behind you guys but it says I have time to catch up. Just watched the opening video but will crack on tomorrow night and should catch up quickly (i hope)

I found week 2 a lot harder. Still not completed it yet but still very interesting.

I am almost finished week 2 it certainly is interesting but trying to remember facts and names and sizes is eek! Good job it is cloudy otherwise I would have no time to be outside.

I have a really busy week next week and am away for half of it, I wonder if it matters if I don;t complete week 3 in week 3 but it slips to week 4.

Nice one! I got 22/24 but can't for the life of me remember what I got wrong enjoying it though!

Some of the questions were a little open this week, 22 is fine though I got 22 in week 1.

I was worried about what the questions were going to be this week as there was so much to take in, I made a stupid mistake on one question as I got hung up looking out for a certain word but that word was not in the answer.

I tend to jot down notes on the salient points/facts as I go (with a pen and paper)

Did anyone else find the 'Guess the Surface Gravity' quiz completely pointless?

All in all a great free course, looking forward to week 3.

Although how anyone can sensibly and seriously get through this in only 3 hours per week is beyond me.

I'm at about 9hrs P/W and I don't participate in the discussion threads.

I guess that like everything else it is a question of how much time I need to put in to get the most out.

I am over 7 hours easy and an making a notes file for each week and I have a Moon spreadsheet I add stuff to as it crops up.

Ah- so I'm not alone happy-kat.

It would seem we have a similar methodology.

But I'll never complain when a course has this much detail and expertise behind it.

And it is FREE! whipeee.

I did! Completely and utterly pointless... I'm glad it wasn't just me, I thought maybe I'd completely missed the point Really enjoying it, generally takes me 4 hours and I don't bother to participate in the discussions as I realised after reading a couple of them I got absolutely zilch from them!!

I take a brief look and a couple snippets I added to my notes but I am very tight for time this week so they are being skipped.

Just finished week 3 as away for a few days so had to get it in quick, this week was harder on memory for sure, I dropped 1 point again, had to really think about what I had read or watched to pull the answers out. Still spent as many hours just crammed it in over 3 days.

Made a stupid mistake this week I should have taken a little more time and select the right answer.

So 21 for Week 4.

This week I thought about the asnwer before looking at the choices.

That's the half way point, and I must say I am enjoying it, though I cannot so far kick the habit

of diving in with the 'obvious answer ' and getting it wrong!
