Crescent moon and Venus

Hey all,

Was taking some family photos off my camera yesterday and thought this worth a share.  I was on my way back from an early morning walk to the shop and saw Venus close to the crescent moon, so I ran in and grabbed my camera, put on my 70-300mm and took a shot.  When I was looking at it yesterday and zoomed in I could see a terminator on Venus in the same shape as the crescent moon so thought I'd crop it and share.  I thought it was really interesting.

It's a lovely pic. I remember seeing this sight a few weeks back and wishing I had a camera lens capable of getting a snap like that. Thanks for sharing.
