Shadows across Jupiter

Recommended Posts

They were the shadows of the moons Ganymede and Io. There was a double shadow transit (as it's called) earlier in the night which many folks were watching, including yourself

I watched 2 Shadows/black bots, pass over Jupiter last night around 9pm on wards.

What did I see because I've searched and found nothing.

Well that answers one of my questions about wether I'd be able to see Jupiter's moons shadows. Can't wait and if your new like me go to http://www.skyandtelescope.com/observing/objects/javascript/jupiter#

and it tells you what and when in terms of Moon positions for any given day/time.
