Jupiter 7th March

This image was taken at 7-18 pm in a small window of improved seeing & seemed to last only minutes in the otherwise lousy seeing of the evening, so out of 10 runs the only one worth processing! Image taken with a 4x powermate- rgb 50 secs per channel at 30fps! Just added a touch of saturation to image 1 Thanks for looking!

Very good images Simon.

You did extremely well to get anything as good as this in our location. Seeing and lousy clouds are making life very tricky.

Is there a name for that mini red spot? Is it a new feature for this year just out of interest?

Very nice Simon...a good level of detail although very bright on my screen. With so many different monitors its always tricky to account for this issue but great work none the less!!
