Jupiter, Europa, GRS and Europa's shadow transit

Hi All, 

After high cloud passed through the seeing was fairly respectable. A lovely view of Jupiter, with the Great Red Spot on disc. Europa was just off planet with its shadow transiting near the GRS.

Wow! That is an awesome image Pete. I love the intricate cloud detail an also the sharpness d the moon with a tiny hint of detail in there too. Fantastic capture.

My target last night was also Jupiter, while,

trying to calibrate a new home brew radio telescope.

Hope to have ARGO-raster image up soon.

Fantastic pic!  I was out too and I knew the seeing was good from the clouded over images I was getting, but just didn't get a break in the clouds to capture anything - so annoyed!
