Yet Another Newby

[look to the stars]

Hello! Having enjoyed watching the skies for many years using my spotting scope and binoculars, I have decided it is time to buy a better scope so that I can see more. I spend time in my motor home in out-of-the-way dark places (particularly Norfolk) and the skies are wondrous so I hope to see some fine sights. Being retired, I can spend lots of time looking up (as long as my wife lets me!  ) I have been looking at this site for a while so thought I should join and take advantage of whatever advice is on offer - and there seems to be plenty of it.
