Sun in H-a with arrowhead proms - March 5th, 2014

The Sun was taking a break from the impressive proms yesterday when I had a peek with my SolarMax 60 H-a scope. But there were some rather marvellous filaments on show.  I really liked the two sort of arrowhead-shaped filaments facing each other, but most of the others looked fab as well.

The best thing about the arrowheads is that I think they look the same through the diagonal and correct way around :grin: EDIT: the heading should say arrowhead filaments! Oops!

According to the MetOffice, it's a few days of cloud our way now, followed by some more cloud, with an extra helping of cloud on top!

Thanks, Steve, Jarrod and Alexandra

Steve, wow, 14 day forecast, I don't normally look that far ahead. Bookmarked!

Alexandra, hope it doesn't turn out too bad!

Jarrod, whoops, hopefully Sarah won't see this post... At least I didn't mention Elvis
