Hi

I'm buying an M42 lens to use on my EOS DSLR for wide field images.

In terms of getting this lens to focus at infinity, are there any particular M42 adapters that enable this, or do the all work equally well? There seem to be different thickness adapters and I want to get the right one so I can focus at infinity.

Any ideas/experiences?

Thanks,

Rich

Go for one of thin ones... more chance of getting focus.

Every little helps.

I would guess that they should offer a full focus range or they wouldn't sell them.

Contact the seller first, then once this has been confirmed and should you have any issues you should be able to send it back.

Most of the M42 adapters are only a mm or so thick and should achieve infinity focus with most lenses, if you can get the chipped version it allows focus confirm opperation and variable F ratio settings very useful for daytime shots.

thanks, guys.

So, thinner the better.

Any particular thicknesses known to work?
