While we're at it guys, can somebody direct me where to buy a fan for my 300P please?

I can see there are screw bits on the primary cell, assuming they could work for a fan.. :)

An old PC tower if you know of one about to be chucked.

Maplin is probably your best bet. They'll also have all the bits to connect it and a nice grille :)

They also do ones with ball bearings and extra quiet blades.

I power it off my main power tank. I have a cigar socket splitter and soldered a cigar plug onto the fan wires. Also added a variable resistor as crude speed control. Running flat out is a bit noisy!

Other option is to run the fan off a rechargable PP3 9V battery. Nice small solution and just has enough voltage to start the fan running at a decent speed.

mine is powed of my dew controller hub, which that is powered from 3 7.5 a/h batterys which rotate with my mount, well inside my mount
