Blown Out Highlights, Sun in H-a, March 3rd, 2014

For this capture today I accidentally had too high an exposure so blew up the highlights a bit! I stacked about 380 frames from 1,700. The Sun didn't hang about long enough for me to have some brief eyepiece time

I went a bit crazy with the false colour for the final, inverted version

Alexadra, good luck to you and your hubby with the CaK setup, the pic over on solarchat looked really good to my untrained CaK eye. I'm a bit scared of the images you might post later on, a CaK setup is most tempting!
