428ex cooler problem?

I have found that, sometimes, if I leave the camera on and cooler running (set to -15deg), when I come back it has dropped to "-35.5deg". I can't be certain what's happening because the cooler shouldn't be able to cool that far... However, when I disconnected / reconnected, the temperature seemed to be still reporting below -20 and was warming up.

Should I be worried?

Most likely a faulty temperature sensor then, although if ambient was around freezing I suppose it's possible the temperature reading was true. Not sure what the max delta is on this camera, the specs should tell you so power it up at room temperature and look what temp it is saying the camera is at (with the cooler off). Then power it to 100% and see how low it can go.
