My name is Dianna.  I am 60 and recently developed an interest in astronomy.  My husband purchased little telesope for me for christmas with an assortment of lenses.  I am so looking forward to learning for each other here. :p

Hi Dianna welcome to the lounge,

you will both learn a great deal here in S G L, and with this

wonderful hobby there is a lot of knowledge to gain, if you

need help or advice just post your question in the appropriate

section, hope you both enjoy your new scope.

Hi Dianna and welcome to SGL - There's masses of information on the forum, especially if you check out the beginners sections. There's also one or two folks on here that actually know what they are talking about too - myself excluded :grin: Ask any questions you have, we all started from the same place, no one was born an astronomer :)

Hi Dianna abd welcome to the forum. Lots of information here on all aspects of astronomy so it won't be long before you are up and running and at the end of day there's no rush as the stars aren't going anywhere!
