The Rosette Nebula against the odds!

That pesky Moon last night made DSO imaging somewhat problematical and in hindsight, I should have done some Ha work instead but in between the flitting wisps of cloud there was a lovely sky to be seen so the camera beckoned! Not particularly pleased with the final result but at least I did get out there.

12 x 600 second subs. with SXVF-H9C and 200mm Telephoto Lens.

Lovely one Steve , got it pretty deep as well mate , yup u did do well with that pesky sky . it was cloudy here till 10 , i looked out and thought Naaaaaaaaaa ,it would have been the Rosette for me as well , next clear moonless night ,
