skywatcher dob mount can you buy it

can you buy a skywatcher 10" dob mount on its own ive seen an orion made one but its expensive can I not just buy a skywacther standard dob mount?

Never seen one from a retailer outlet, however people occasionally get the dobsonian then go imaging so need a good sized EQ mount and they may sell the unwanted base.

Means you would have to put a wanted ad on somewhere, Astro buy and Sell UK being the obvious.

I presume that you have the newtonian OTA with the dobsonian mating bits. Could you not make your own base ?

I have seen them on sale in the Euro-zone shops (germany if I remember correctly). Never anything in the UK though.

Saying that it only looks like it is the goto model. Which is expensive.
