NGC2359 WIP

Wasn't going to inflict this image on the public until I had more data but as the weather is [removed word] I've given up on it for another year as I can only image it for a short time each year, low down between trees and houses.

This is just three 30min subs HA, 0111 and S11, 10" SCT fork mounted on wedge, 6.3F/R, Atik 314L Badder NB filters, no processing other than levels and curves, will try again next year , god willing

thats a pretty tough object to image, but i knew what it was as soon as i saw it  do you think it would respond to a modded DSLR well?

you have some good data there, if the weather had allowed I believe you would have achieved something you would have been happier with

but its a good start and you can give it another crack next year

 I have tried to bag this too, (not this year though) with a modded 350d

     

It is low on the horizon and very tricky due to atmospheric distortion 

I think I was using a cls clip filter at the time if that helps bunnygod1
