Hello group I am a new user to this group I have a skywatcher 150mm which I am hoping to use for astrophotography. I have not had opportunity to use the telescope yet due to weather and light pollution. Would like to hear from anyone else who is into astrophotography on any tips on how to get started. Also I will be starting a Open University Course - S194 06B (Introducing Astronomy) Please Email : DunstanF100@aol.com if any one like to talk about the Subjects.

Welcome, welcome!!

Check out the various equipment and imaging sections on what some people have been up to, and feel free to ask any questions.

Some of our imagers are on extended leave at the moment, but they will pick up any loose ends and help you on the way!!

Cheers

Welcome to the forum.

What type of camera are you intending to use for imaging?

What type of imaging do you want to do......Lunar/Planetary/deepsky ?

What mount do you use?

Just a couple of questions to give us an idea of what tips to put your way.
