not much clear weather recently, but did manage a hour  this morning. the usual set up PST and DMK21

AR1967 looking very good through the PST today. these two images were taken using exactly the same settings, the only difference was moving the tuning ring. it really does give a different look to the region.

Superb!! in the wings of Halpha you are seeing a much lower level of the chromosphere down to around 500km above the photosphere (if I remember right), what is special about this picture is the wonderful blue shifted section of the big filament, that region is rapidly coming towards you, that's a great shot :) :) :)
