please can somebody let me know what size astrozap baader solar filter i would need for a skywatcher explorer 200p?

I'd suggest just buying an A4 sheet of Baader ND5.0 Solar film and making your own holder.

Easy to make from card . 

There is no great benefit from a full size filter on your 200P , the atmosphere tends to be the limiting factor and a filter holder that gives a 100mm aperture that you can line up with the gap between the spider vanes will be fine.

Has the added benefit of giving you two filters per £20.00 sheet with off-cuts big enough for your finderscope.

I just build one to fit the filter hole in the top of my scope cap, works well.  Just remember to rotate the hole so it is not over a spider vein.

i bought one for my 5" at £40, wish i'd made one! its a dead simple thing to look at. may buy an A4 to make one for my 10" and flog the 5" on to someone else!
