Sky Prodigy 130

Thinking about getting one of these soon

Anybody own one or used one and could give me there verdict on them as saw good and bad reviews lol

Hi, the optics are the same as other 130 mm f5 Celestron / skywatcher ota's and are well thought of. The mount is the unique thing about the sky prodigy and I have not seen any owners reviews on this yet. You may know Celestron have recently reduced the price

I had the celestron slt127 and it held me well til I caught

aperture fever and wanted more light..

My advice is to do your research and think about what you want to get

from this hobby, because what you would spend on the Prodigy 130

you could get a bigger aperture Dobsonian which would capture a lot more

light.
