My capture of the Super Nova in M82

Not a great shot cause the wind was really whipping but i managed to catch the SuperNova in M82 tonight. It's huge. I can only wonder what the skies would be like living on a planet around another star near it. 15 seconds unguided at ISO 2000.

12 million years to get here at 186,000 miles a second. So hard to wrap one's head around!
