M35 ? Or M35 and NGC 2158, or neither.

Wonder if anybody can shed some photons on this.

I was out one dark night, and stellarium showed M35 as a cluster. Without an EP in, I just slewed the scope around and took a trial exposure, which showed the cluster on the left of the pic.

But the longer exposures brought out the smaller cluster on the right.

Anybody got a clue what they might be?

All I know for sure is that they were a little below and to the left of Mars on 07/01/08, at 21:47

This is a stacked pic, but if I'm honest the single frames seem to look better?
