See any galaxy!

plus one on this.

I also can't wait to catch a glimpse if Saturn when it is up earlier at night.

A good view of the veil nebulae and also mars (never viewed them before) but mainly to spend more time at the eyepiece. :-)

Clear skies to you all :-)

I'm still hoping for the SN in M82, also my first "definite" view of the GRS. (my new 5mm BST should help). I managed around 40 Messiers with the TAL2 over the last year or so, and will try and revisit as many of these as I can with the 200p. Then I'd like to carry on where I left off in the Virgo clusters.

That's the plan anyway. No panic, everything except the SN will be around for a while yet:)

Try and bag in my new binoculars some of those pesky Messiers down in Sagittarius and Scorpius. I can see M93 from the front garden, which is encouraging as that's pretty far south.

My 3 for 2014:

1) Find a nice dark sky site away from LP that I can frequent.

2) Not get murdered achieving 1).

3) Find and observe any galaxy.
