Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to astronomy having just purchased my first refractor telescope which fits in nicely with my photographic interests as I can use it for terrestrial use also. I live in what is called the "astronomic black triangle" between the Dordogne and Lot rivers, 350m above sea level we have a wonderful unpolluted view of the night skies. Hope to gain more knowledge through interacting with the other members in the forums.

Not jealous of your location. I'm not. Seriously. That triangle sounds cool; I'm from the cloudy triangle in the East Midlands. It's quite similar apart from the cloud, atmosphere and light pollution.
