PST mod revival (again)

Don't forget you can drill the BF5 out to 6mm.

Remove the filter (it is square!) and drill out the 5mm hole to 6mm a 20% increase, so worthwhile.

Must see if the same is possable with my BF10.

I didn't know that about the BF, every little helps! Taken to an extreme, why not make a new square holder for it? I'll have to pull my spare PST apart now and have a look...

You will need a BF10 for decent full disk viewing using a TAL100.

The BF6 mod was only a stop gap until my BF10 arrives, it was still like looking through the eye of a needle!

Ooh, I had forgotten about this. I'm slacking again...

Metalwork has never been a strong point for me so making the drop in filter assembly is something I'm not looking forward to. I'm out of budget for the moment so no BF upgrade will be on the radar any time soon. I'm not much a visual user anyway, so hopefully its limitations can be worked around for imaging.
