M31 - last of the season

This is the last effort this season for Andromeda - the weather was just too poor, and there is a building in the way.  

 

I tried not to overprocess, but I think there is a little too much contrast in the dust lanes.  There is some light pollution, and despite perfect looking flats, some vignetting in the bottom corners.  

 

Atik 4000 and 4" refractor with reducer. 10 X 300 seconds in each of LRGB - I hope I can add some more in future.

 

Any criticism welcomed.

Thanks.  I don't know what happened to the JPEG conversion - it looks awful compared to the tiff on my screen, as well as being cropped.  I hope this is a better attempt!

That is really nice Chris.  i quite like the first one. the nebulosity  is more subtle around the outside.

Great image! I like the wider angle second version. I can't even fit the whole of Andromeda into the fov of my scope.
