It's a lovely camera Col. I tried one in Winchester Cameras and it made the Canon 350D seem like a cheap £20 toy from Toy'r'us...which it is!

I just didn't have the cash for the 7D, so plumped for the 5D instead....which i love. Despite the 350D's better astro ability, no way would i swap the Minolta 5D for one.

If you get that, i'll be very envious.

thanks for that russ, its actualy my friend whos thinking of getting one, he s into astro imaging aswell as nature, iv given him the forums address, hopefully he l get round to joining,
